Where to Find Atlantic Salmon
In Loftia, Atlantic Salmon is caught at Deep Lake Fishing Spot (Uncommon), Floating Village Fishing Spot (Uncommon), and Lake Fishing Spot (Uncommon) in The Hanging Gardens. The highest catch probability is at Floating Village Fishing Spot (Uncommon), where landing a successful catch offers up to a 100.0% chance. Atlantic Salmon is classified under the Fish category with Uncommon rarity and sells for 10 Dew.
Fishing Spots and Catch Rates
Catch chances and quantities for Atlantic Salmon depend on landing a good or critical catch during the fishing minigame. The following table details every fishing spot where Atlantic Salmon can be caught, including district area, node tier, minigame difficulty, catch chances, drop quantities, and respawn timer:
| Fishing Spot | District & Area | Tier | Minigame Difficulty | Normal Catch | Good Catch | Critical Catch | Quantity | Respawn |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deep Lake Fishing Spot (Uncommon) | The Hanging Gardens (Deep Lake) | Uncommon | Medium (3 rings) | None (0%) | 11.1% (1) | 25.0% (2) | 1-2 | 30s |
| Floating Village Fishing Spot (Uncommon) | The Hanging Gardens (Floating Village) | Uncommon | Medium (3 rings) | None (0%) | 100.0% (1) | 100.0% (2) | 1-2 | 30s |
| Lake Fishing Spot (Uncommon) | The Hanging Gardens (Lake) | Uncommon | Medium (3 rings) | None (0%) | 66.7% (1) / 22.2% (2) | 75.0% (2) | 1-2 | 30s |
Basic normal catches never yield fish at these spots, so landing at least a good catch is required to obtain Atlantic Salmon. Each node respawns on a 30-second timer once depleted.
Research Bundles and Uses
The in-game item description reads: “Bright scales and strong fins, helping them return to where they belong”. Atlantic Salmon is required for the Anadromous Odyssey bundle at the Central Lake Research Station, which needs 1 Atlantic Salmon to complete. No other quests, recipes, or inspiration goals currently require Atlantic Salmon in the game files.
Contribution Bins
In addition to research stations, Atlantic Salmon is requested in Hanging Gardens fish bin turn-ins. One daily request calls for 4 Atlantic Salmon alongside 3 Atlantic Sturgeon. A second daily request asks for 4 Atlantic Salmon alongside 2 Ivell’s Sea Anemone. Hanging Gardens contribution bins refresh their turn-in requests every 24 hours, so individual bundles appear only on certain days.
