Early Access Launch and Discount
The developers announced that they have officially launched into Early Access. Loftia is available on Steam with a launch discount of 17% off for 2 weeks. The developers explained that Loftia is a game about bringing people together, and stated they wanted this discount to lower the barrier to entry. Players can get a copy of Loftia for US$24.89. Growing Together Bundle
The release also includes the Growing Together Bundle for US$54.97 with the launch discount. In the bundle, players get a robot pet named Greeny, nature-themed cosmetics, and the official Loftia soundtrack. A portion of the purchase will go towards supporting One Tree Planted to help plant trees around the world.
Early Access Plans and Future Content
The developers noted that there is much more that they will still be introducing over time. The developers outlined their upcoming plans: “Over the next year or so of Early Access, we’ll be introducing new NPCs, questlines, islands, outfits and decorations, the Study Cafe, Clubs, NPC Friendships, and that’s only scratching the surface of everything we intend to add!”
The team will also frequently push out continued bugfixing, general improvements, and performance optimizations. The vision for Loftia is to be a world that evolves over time together with its community and player feedback. The team will continuously update Loftia for years to come, without slowing down changes and improvements even after the 1.0 Full Release.
