Single-harvest crops run on their total growth duration (e.g. 15 minutes for Tomato). Multi-harvest trees (Banana, Cacao, Coconut) mature over an initial 360 minutes across 5 stages, return to stage 2 upon harvest, and regrow in 180 minutes per subsequent harvest (5 harvests total yielding 15 crops over a 1,080-minute full cycle), as extracted from DT_Seeds and game engine growth functions. The calculator assumes each growth stage takes the same time.
Cooking Profit Formula
Net Dew from cooked dishes equals (Dish Sell Price − Cost of Other Ingredients) / Target Crop Quantity. Foraged ingredients (such as Cumin, Flax, and Cinnamon) cost 0 Dew with a “foraged” label; store-bought ingredients (Butter, Milk, Egg, Sugar, Oil) use their vendor buy price from the game files.
Shiny Expected Value
When “Include Shiny Crops” is toggled on, the expected raw sell price incorporates the base in-game shiny rate: P(shiny) × Shiny Multiplier + P(normal) × 1 (a 10% chance for a 2× reward on standard crops, or 0% on trees and trellises).
In-Game Day Cycle
Loftia runs on a 20-minute in-game day (four 5-minute intervals: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Night, extracted from data/daily-cycle.json). Daily profit equals hourly profit multiplied by (20 / 60).
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the most profitable crop to grow in Loftia?
For standard repeatable crops, Tomato is the top earner in Garden Beds, yielding 108.00 Dew per slot per hour when sold raw (15-minute growth, 27 Dew profit per harvest) and up to 228.00 Dew per slot per hour when cooked into Ful Medames at Cooking Station Lv. 3. Carrot is the second highest earner at 210.00 Dew per slot per hour when cooked into Chakalaka at Cooking Station Lv. 3.
Should I sell crops raw or cook them into dishes in Loftia?
For most crops cooking pays more per crop. For example, a raw Carrot sells for 15 Dew (5 Dew profit over the 10 Dew seed), while cooked into Chakalaka at Cooking Station Lv. 3 each Carrot is worth 45 Dew after the other ingredients are priced at their own sell value.
What is the fastest growing crop in Loftia?
The fastest standard crops are Lettuce, Carrot, Cotton, and Cauliflower, each maturing in 10 minutes (requiring 1 or 2 waterings). Tomato matures in 15 minutes, making it both fast-growing and exceptionally high-profit.
What is the best tree to plant for Dew in Loftia?
Banana, Cacao, and Coconut trees all share a 360-minute initial growth time across 5 stages, returning to stage 2 upon harvest and regrowing in 180 minutes. Across 5 harvests (15 total crops per planting over 1,080 minutes), raw sales return 8.33 Dew per slot per hour. Cooking Bananas into Sweet Porridge (Lv. 2) or Cacao into Hot Chocolate (Lv. 2) boosts this return to 20.83 Dew per slot per hour.
How can I earn Dew fast with farming in Loftia?
Upgrade your Garden Beds building permit and place 3x3 Garden Beds (9 crop slots per bed instead of 1). Plant fast, cheap seeds such as Tomato and Carrot, water them on time, and cook them at an upgraded Cooking Station instead of selling them raw.
