Free Demo Launch and Progress Carryover
The free Loftia Steam demo is now live to download directly from the Steam store page. All completed quests, collected items, and character progression will remain with players when Early Access begins on November 3rd. Players must link their Loftia website account in-game using an email address to redeem rewards and preserve demo progress. If an account is not linked, the developers cannot recover rewards or progress made during the demo.
World Projects and Community Passes
World Projects allow players to come together and work toward shared community goals. The first World Project in the demo involves setting up a birthday party for Pebble, whose birthday happens to be on November 3rd. Contributing to the project grants birthday gear and other in-game items. World Projects tie into Community Passes, which will feature both a standard reward track and a future premium track.
Demo Banner and Community Events
The Demo Banner is an exclusive reward available to commemorate all players who join during Steam Next Fest. Players unlock the banner upon entering the Player Neighborhood, which is reachable in the first 10 minutes of play. The team is also hosting community activities and competitions on the official Discord throughout the week. If players claim a character name during the demo but do not log into Early Access in the 3 months between November 3rd, 2026 and February 3rd, 2027, the character name will be made available for other players to claim.
