Next Fest Schedule and Progress Transfer
Loftia will participate in Steam Next Fest on October 19th with a limited-time demo that everyone can download and play. The demo goes live on October 19th at 1pm EDT and will remain playable for one week until October 26th. Gameplay progress from the demo will carry over into Early Access. Anything completed or collected during the demo will remain with the character when Early Access begins a week later.
Playable Demo Content
The demo showcases the initial part of the Loftia experience. Players can complete the opening Loftia City questline, meet NPCs, salvage resources, grow crops, and decorate a home in a shared neighborhood. The experience also allows players to team up for Adventures to solve group puzzles, contribute to World Projects, and play social minigames. The demo storyline ends just before players reach the next district, the Hanging Gardens.
Demo Rewards and Character Names
The Demo Banner is an exclusive reward available to commemorate all players who join during Next Fest week. Players unlock this banner upon entering the Player Neighborhood for the first time, which can be reached in the first 10 minutes. Players must link their email address on the Loftia website to make sure the reward is saved for Early Access. Character names created during the demo will carry over into Early Access, with a limit of one character per account. If a character name is claimed during the demo but the player does not log in between November 3rd, 2026 and February 3rd, 2027, the name becomes available for others to claim.
